THE JOB:

Synergy has an immediate opening for a freelance graphic designer for a three-to-four week project. Work is to be completed in the company's office, alongside our current designer. This position has the possibility of becoming full-time for the right candidate. (See below).

 

Main responsibilities will include designing event signage for a large entertainment brand. Prior experience with large signage, designing for big brands is a plus. Designer must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience in 3D Studio Max a big plus.

 

Must be able to work under pressure, on tight deadlines and adapt easily to client requests and changes.

FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY:

THE JOB:

The graphic designer will work directly with members of Synergy's account, marketing, and operations teams to enhance the quality of event proposals submitted to potential and existing clients.  

Specifically, the main focus of the position is to create and design renders for RFP's and for the company's events. The candidate will also have the opportunity to design event signage for major brands and companies, and see the process through from concept, to final design and production.

 

Additional responsibilities include working with the Vice President of Marketing & Communications to design and produce marketing collateral and web applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates should have a strong and comprehensive portfolio and some experience in the graphic design industry, along with a working knowledge of pre-press and production. Internship experience is OK, as this position is ideal for someone with 0-2 years experience.

 

The graphic artist must be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of 3-D Studio Max or other 3-D software programs, in addition to web design and Flash, are a big plus.

 

Individual should be a detail-oriented, motivated self-starter who communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing. Candidate should be able to adapt to client changes and demands, anticipate needs, prioritize projects and be willing to work after hours and weekends as needed.
