Synergy Events, USTA Teaming Up Again for SmashZone at the US Open

For the second straight year, Synergy Events is teaming up with the USTA to present SmashZone, the premiere fan interactive in tennis. 

Located in the USTA Indoor Training Center, SmashZone provides fun for the whole family while showcasing a new, confidence-building play format which makes it easier for kids 10 and under to pick up a racquet and have fun - even if they've never played before.

Get your kids fitted for the right-sized racquet, and you and your children will have fun playing together on SmashZone's Center Court or on an accompanying 36-foot court. Additional fun-filled activities for all ages include the following:

• Rally against an electronic backboard in a series of timed activities in the Training Zone presented by EveryoneBreathe.com
• Have your photo taken with a replica US Open Trophy, meet legends of the game and experience tennis history in the International Tennis Hall of Fame Gallery.
• Clock your fastest serve in Speed Serve
• Broadcast a US Open championship point in You Call the Shots
• Take a photo inside a revamped Olympus Fan Photo booth
• Engage in fitness area games that improve footwork, balance and agility
