Synergy Events is looking for an experienced event marketing professional to facilitate production and logistical elements of the company's events and promotions. This position reports to the Director of Production.

 

The primary responsibilities for this position are to:

 

  • Understand and operate all vehicles and equipment assets utilized in the company's mobile marketing tours, product launches, PR events, PR stunts and sponsorship activation programs.
  • Implement and oversee production policies and procedures, pre-event perparation and logistical development, on-site execution, post-program recaps and production training of all staff.

Specifically, the Production Manager will:

  • Manage event production, including logistical planning, asset utilization, internal communication and industry/technology research.
  • Co-manage work back schedules, load lists, signage development and production, budget management and production schedules.
  • Drive the internal agency communication process related to production.
  • Help manage vendor research, coordination and communication.
  • Facilitate shipping and receiving for all event/program assets.
  • Identify new methods and resources for event trends, planning and resources.

Manage Production aspects of field event execution:

  • Drive event load-in and load-out process to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage field event build and strike.
  • Lead on-site vendor coordination.
  • Facilitate solutions if production issues arise.

Manage production aspects of equipment and other company assets:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of assets and manage accordingly across all programs.
  • Analyze company assets to determine whether capital expenditure investments are necessary.
  • Enforce existing warehouse policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of event production experience, preferably with a production company/event marketing agency.
  • AA/AS or BA/BS college degree preferred.
  • Trade/vocational background preferred (e.g., audio/visual, stage, lighting, carpentry).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Higly organized, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ablility to prioritize and manage time well.
  • Ability to travel nationwide for event execution and management.
  • Can work well independently and within a fast-paced, team environment.
