In honor of Valentine's Day, I took a quick poll of the office to find the top 14 reasons why Synergy Events' employees love event marketing. (get it, LOVE on Valentine's Day... 14 top reasons, not 10).

Whether it's a consumer product launch, PR stunt, mobile marketing tour or sponsorship activation program, our team takes pride in planning and executing authentic brand experiences that drive media attention and create consumer buzz.

 

So here we go...! (These reasons are in no particular order):

 

14. "Making a product 3-dimensional, where consumers can actually experience it for themselves versus seeing it on TV, the Internet, or a magazine."

 

13. "It is always something different. No two events are the same."

 

12. "To work with incredible people throughout the process: clients, vendors, staff, city agencies."

 

11. "I love being involved in creating something new that has a visual beginning and end."

 

10. "Graphics! (Yes, this came from our talented Creative/Graphic Design department.) I love the design of events especially when it comes to the look and feel of the signage, it can make or break an event!"

 

9. "The wide variety of projects we work on and the clients we work with, from leading brands to top PR agencies."

 

8. "The different venues we work with. Nothing beats a cool Times Square event or Herald Square event to bring out the media and the masses."

 

 

7. Author's entry: I have a PR background, so I especially like the PR stunts and huge product launches that attract media attention... the kind of events that make people stop and notice on the street, share with people virally via social networking or take notice when watching TV.

 

 

6. "Bringing brands and products  to life at some of the largest sporting events in the country." (Love this, too. We've been fortunate to activate at the US Open, Daytona 500, Olympics, NCAA Final Four, NHL Winter Classic, Super Bowl, FIFA World Cup and many others).

1. "To hear from my family and friends that I have THE BEST JOB EVER doing cool events and meeting fun people." (Yes, somebody went all caps on me... Is somebody angling for a promotion here?)
