Keith Green

VP Communications & Agency Partnerships
Keith Green

As a kid growing up in Pennsylvania, Keith always wanted to do something fun and exciting for a living. Sports was in his DNA, something he can't remember not being part of his life. Today, he directs the overall communications strategy for Synergy and leads the development of experiential programs with our PR and marketing agency partners. Keith brings creativity and knowledge from working with some of the sports world's greatest providers of fan experiences from the courts of the NBA to the most famous NASCAR and IndyCar tracks.

Many of us have our own "first job" stories and Keith is no exception. After graduating with a degree in journalism, he found himself writing for a medical publishing company about a somewhat gruesome subject: intestinal disorders. While thankful for a job, it didn't take long for him to find himself wondering, "What am I doing here?" Growing up around sports-crazed Philadelphia, he always wanted to be involved with sports. After thought and deliberation, he knew what he had to do and put a new action plan into place to follow his passion.

Keith quickly found that opportunity through Gift of Life in Philadelphia, working on their Olympic-style U.S. Transplant games for people recovering from organ transplants. The experience was fulfilling and life-changing in more ways than one. Keith found himself working shoulder-to-shoulder with Jimmy Lynam, GM of the Philadelphia 76ers, whose brother had a kidney transplant. Keith credits the generosity of Lynam in helping shape his career. Within a short span of time, he was working with the 76ers. He would stay with the franchise for six years, working in the ticketing and community relations departments.

After leaving the 76ers, Keith worked at Nazareth Speedway for two and a half years as the director of public relations. He then moved to a similar position at the 112,000-seat Richmond International Raceway. At both facilities, his master PR plans and innovative promotions helped break NASCAR and IndyCar attendance marks and drive record revenue.

Keith received a B.A. in journalism and an M. Ed. in sports administration from Temple University. He currently serves on the board of the Public Relations Society of America, New York Chapter.

Keith resides in Little Silver, NJ with his wife Donna and their son Gavin. His passions away from work include golf, running, cooking and educating others about autism. Of course, sports is a major part of his life, as he is a huge fan of his favorite Philly teams, the Phillies, Eagles and Temple's football and basketball teams.
